Debate your own thought on a point and then be absolutely still and quiet and observe what “your own thoughts” come up with as though you are both the therapist & the one on the couch simultaneously. Listen to how “your thoughts” respond to you. Then write that down and analyze it. Then ask yourself do you yourself truly believe what was said and whether it even sounds like something you would say.

The left ear can sound different then the right, if a person pays attention they can sense which direction the communication is coming from.
